Voxtrona

Privacy Policy

Your data stays yours. Always.

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. No Personal Data Collection

Voxtrona Music respects your privacy. The app is a local-first application, meaning your listening data, playlists, library, and settings are stored exclusively on your device. We do not maintain any user database, and we do not collect, read, or intercept your personal information or listening history.

2. Crash Reporting & Diagnostics

Standard, anonymous crash logs and performance statistics are processed through the official Google Play Console for users who download Voxtrona through the Google Play Store. These logs are aggregated by Google to help us improve app stability.

No personal listening data, account credentials, or specific playlists are included in these diagnostics. The app contains no custom telemetry, trackers, or custom servers (such as Sentry).

3. YouTube Tracking (Opt-In)

If you are logged into a Google/YouTube account in Voxtrona and choose to toggle on the "Send back to Google" feature, the app will communicate directly with YouTube Music's Tracking API to sync your listening history with your official YouTube account. This is strictly opt-in and is disabled by default.

4. Local Processing

All audio decoding, equalization, spatial audio profiles, and visual features (such as dynamic gradients and theme effects) are processed locally on your device's hardware. Your music data is never uploaded to the cloud for processing.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated revision date.

6. Contact & Support

If you have questions about our local-first privacy architecture, please contact us via our official community Discord or open an issue on our GitHub repository.
