📢 The road to Voxtrona 3.5

Souvik · Solo developer

Hey everyone,

Since I showed the crossovers I have been working on — the Grid from TRON, the eldritch side of Lord of the Mysteries, and the Holy Grail War on the way — there has been a lot of excitement, and a fair few questions.

Plenty of you are sceptical, and I understand why. The question I keep getting is some version of: how does one person building a music app pull off collaborations this big? It is a fair thing to ask. The honest answer is that Voxtrona stopped being just a music app a while ago.

The Cyberpunk pack was where I found that out. Night City was not just a fun side project — it was the test that showed me what the app could actually take. I learned what it costs to merge high-fidelity audio with an environment that reacts to you, I read every reaction you sent, and I have taken all of it into what comes next.

To do these worlds properly, I am tearing down the old framework.

Here is what I am changing under the hood:

  • Ground-up audio engine rebuildI am rewriting the core audio architecture so it can carry sound profiles specific to each universe, losslessly and without guesswork.
  • A full interface rebuildnot a new colour palette over old menus. The themed environments are being built into the app properly, with their own physics and logic.
  • Control handed back to yougranular spatial tuning and interface modules you can arrange yourself. Your device, your rules.

This is not about painting the app to match a franchise. It is about changing how you hear, see and move through your music.

Thanks for sticking with me while I build it. Get your headphones ready.

Coming soon in Voxtrona 3.5.
