What I added this time

A few things I have wanted in the app for a while, all live now.

Sharing

You can make song posters straight from the app now and share them wherever you like.

• I took the release dates off the poster templates. They’re just the cover art and the type now, and they look cleaner for it.
• Tap Share on the player screen to customise a poster and post it.

Audio quality

I rebuilt the quality settings panel from scratch. The old one had grown into a mess.

• Tap the quality chip on the console to open it.
• You can switch the output from there too, between the phone, wired headphones and Bluetooth, without leaving the app.

The console

The console on the player screen is smarter about what you are actually listening on.

• It shows what you’re listening on, with an icon and the quality: Headphones, Bluetooth or Speakers.
• The song title at the top is centred on every screen size, and long titles scroll.

Also in 3.7

• Searching for a show or a collection, like Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, now finds the artists behind the music, with their artwork and profile photos.
• Enter or Search on the keyboard runs the search straight away.
• Switching between Songs, Albums, Artists and Playlists updates the results immediately.
